Our mission is to create healthier families and foster their well-being in the San Gabriel Valley. We are proud of the state of art services provided to people who could not otherwise access high quality mental health and social services. It is our belief that individuals and families facing the intense stresses of today’s life can become temporarily dysfunctional and in need of assistance.

Our primary goal is to help families help themselves within a professional environment characterized by respect and dignity. Experience has taught us that those people who want to improve can become functional again and implement a healthier and more effective life style.Since 1951 Santa Anita Family Service has been providing local families with effective programs to help them solve personal problems related to family life.

Our Licensed Counseling and Senior Center staff are dedicated helpers who genuinely care about their clients. Santa Anita Family Service’s core staff are long term employees who respect their clients by listening to their needs and responding with effective interventions.Our programs deal effectively with child abuse, drug and alcohol related problems, behavioral health problems, domestic violence, out of home foster placement of children, corrective educational experiences and child enrichment activities. We also offer a broad base of social services for seniors and their families, designed to help seniors live with dignity and maximum independence.
